My husband's car was literally falling apart, it was grinding, shaking, barely able to keep it going down the road. He could wait it out no longer, it wasn't going to fix itself. I started calling around and everyone didn't want to work on that old of a car, couldn't fit the car in quickly, etc, etc. My daughter suggested Mount Motors, where they always take their vehicles. I gave them a call, he said he could fit it in the next day. My daughter and I arrived and dropped off the car the next morning, Friday, he warned me ahead of time, that it might be Monday or Tuesday before it got finished. I told him I understood and that we were prepared, my husband was going to drive our daughter's car to work. I arrived home and shortly after received the first of many phone calls. He explained to me what the mechanic had discovered so far and the cost. Before the mechanic did anything to the car, I always received a phone call, asking me if I wanted to accept the charges that would occur. There were so many things wrong with my husband's car. We had this car since 2013, bought used, and the only repairs my husband had done over the years were the oil changes and a starter. The calls kept coming, charges kept going up. I was estimating the cost to be close to $5000, Mount Motors was having to repair/replace so many items- too many to list here. Tuesday morning arrived along with the phone call that the car was done. I drove to Mount Motors to pay the bill, then when my husband got off work, we would go pick it up. When they had called, they gave me the total, but I was sure I had not heard correctly. But I arrived with checkbook in hand, and the invoice was right there, exactly what they had told me over the phone. My $5000 estimate was not even close; it was about $2000 too much!!! A hair over $3000. God is good! After work, I dropped off my husband and he drove the car home. For the last couple of days, it is like I have a new man in the house! He is smiling, happy, and dancing a jig! He says it is like he is driving a new car all over again! The steering is easy, no struggle to keep it on the road, smooth as silk. Thank you, Mount Motors, we do not have to eat Mac and cheese the rest of the month, and my husband is the happiest he has been in a long time!!! God is good and faithful, and your company is amazing!!!
